I loved the charming decor of The Railway Tavern Hotel, which created a cozy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly helpful, ensuring everything was accessible and comfortable during my stay as a senior traveler. A true delight!
Steep stairs could be challenging for some seniors.

The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore London. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming, much like a cozy pub. My teenage daughter really enjoyed the lively vibe there and we appreciated the helpful staff.
In my wife's opinion, the cleanliness could have been better. It would have been great if the bathrooms were reimagined for families with children.

Had a lovely stay here with some great evening shows and a nice lounge area to unwind in after our adventures. It was a bit cramped in the room and could use a few updates, but we really enjoyed our time. I recommend checking out the live music for a fun night! 😊

Had a blast with friends! Perfect spot before hitting the O2 for a concert and close to tons of places to explore. The staff were super helpful and the prices for drinks were great too. Clean rooms with good vibes made it a memorable stay.
The mattress didn't fit the bed properly, which was uncomfortable during the night. Could use a bit of maintenance.

The Railway Tavern provided a fantastic location for my business trip, just a 10 to 15 minute walk from Stratford station. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, and my room was clean with all the amenities I needed. Breakfast was delightful, and the attentive service made me feel valued as a guest.
The pub downstairs can be noisy at times.

Ideal location near Stratford, engaging pub environment, inviting outdoor garden area
The noise levels from the pub were excessive, especially during events!!! Dirty common areas and inadequate soundproofing detracted from my comfort!!!

The staff are genuinely lovely and they went above and beyond. I mean, we even tried to tip one of the guys because he was fantastic all evening, but he just wouldn’t take it, saying it was a pleasure to serve us.
It wasn’t exactly a steal, but honestly, for what you get it’s worth it.

The room had an engaging, cozy atmosphere with comfortable furnishings, making for a nice stay. Plus, having easy access to local transport makes everything else in the area so much simpler.
During my time here, the bathroom needed some serious cleaning, especially the shower grouting. The TV remote didn’t function despite swapping batteries, and the bedside lights were missing bulbs. I also faced loud noise from the bar below well into the early hours, which made it tough to catch some solid sleep. Lastly, some basic amenities were lacking, like soap in the bathroom, which could have really added to the experience.

Super friendly staff!
We had a pretty good time! The staff were super friendly and really made us feel welcome. The bar/lounge area was a nice spot to chill after a long day. Only thing was the shower didn't have enough pressure for my liking.

easy access to parks and popular attractions for weekend explorations
I found this place to be an ideal base for my weekend strolls, with Westfield Stratford City just a short walk away at around 500 meters. The lovely Victoria Park a bit further at almost 3 km, perfect for lazy afternoons in the sun. the staff were friendly and allowed me to leave my car for extra convenience as I explored the area.

The moment I arrived, the staff treated me like an old friend, seriously, they went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. Had breakfast cooked by this character 'Tommy'—the man knows how to make eggs that just hit the spot, can't beat that energy in the morning.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but it was still decent for what I got.

Engaging pub environment made for a lively atmosphere.
Our experience was thoroughly disappointing. The room had a broken toilet seat, which took multiple reports over two days to fix. On top of that, there was no soap provided in the bathroom, and cleaning service was non-existent, leaving us to handle our own waste. The noise from the pub downstairs was unbearable, going well past midnight, with rude staff who reacted poorly to our complaints.
